Rural Municipality of Moose Jaw No. 161 Discretionary Use Application/Notice
The Council of the Rural Municipality of Moose Jaw No. 161, pursuant to Zoning Bylaw No. 6-2011, as amended, is considering a discretionary use application as described below:
PROPERTY
The parcels of land that are the subject of the discretionary use applications are shown on the link (map/picture) below (in red). The properties are located at 36 Dawn Road and 29 Mustang Trail. The current use of these properties are Zoned Country Residential District (CR).

APPLICATION
The applicant at 36 Dawn road is proposing to construct a 3,000 sq. ft. accessory building, while the applicant at 29 Mustang Trail is proposing to construct a 2,400 sq. ft. accessory building. The Zoning Bylaw had been amendment in 2016 (Bylaw No. 6-2016) to permit the construction of larger accessory buildings to a maximum size of 3000 sq. ft. on parcels of 5 acres or more. Parcels under 5 acres, were accommodated in the amendment, through a “Discretionary Use” process.
Should you have any comment on this discretionary use application, please reply in writing by using one of the methods set out below to the Council of the Rural Municipality of Moose Jaw No. 161 prior to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020. Writers must ensure that they identify themselves in their submissions. A public hearing on the proposal will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Council chambers -1410 Caribou St. W. Moose Jaw.
