The R.M. of Moose Jaw No. 161 will again offer a cost-shared dust control program to rural residents/ratepayers in 2009. The program comprises an application of dust control product (DL-10) on the road near occupied residences or other trouble areas in the municipality. The approximate total cost to treat a 500-foot length of road by 24-foot width in 2009 will be $1,250.00 – cost sharing is $625.00 by the resident/ratepayer and $625.00 for the municipality.
Other cost-sharing arrangements can be discussed for unique circumstances, including pro-rating costs for smaller or larger applications. Please contact John or Jody at the municipal office (306-692-3446) for further information or discussion.
