Please see the Call for Nominations of Candidates for the offices of Councillor for Divisions Two (2), Four (4) and Six (6), respectively, located elsewhere on the website. Please note the following general information with regard to rural municipal elections in 2011:

• Councillors for Divisions 2, 4 and 6, respectively, will be elected for a three-year term for the year 2011 only. Following the year 2011, all members of council, including the Reeve, will be elected for four-year terms.
• As noted in the previous bullet, the Reeve and Councillors for Divisions 1, 3 and 5, respectively, will be elected for a four-year term in the fall of 2012. Thereafter, rural municipal elections will be held every two years commencing in the year 2014, with
• Nomination day for 2011 is Wednesday, September 21, 2011, with a deadline of 4:00 p.m. local time for the receipt of nominations for the offices noted in the first bullet above.
• Should an election be required for 2011, election day is Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Council & staff have made provisions for an advance poll to be held prior to that date, as well. Specifics would be made available should an election be necessary.
