We have chosen to host a day of celebration to commemorate this 100^th anniversary of incorporation – please mark Saturday, July 16, 2011 on your calendar. And we want you to celebrate with us – on the reverse of this letter is information/an agenda regarding the activities planned to celebrate our centennial. All events will be held at R.M. 161’s Public Works Shop/Yard Site at 2055 Norwood Avenue in Moose Jaw. Please consider this your invitation to attend – tickets for the entire day’s event are just $10.00 each for adults, $5.00 for children and include performances by Saskatchewan Express, exhibits, displays, children’s activities, a fly-by by the Snowbirds and much more. Contact the municipal office by phone or e-mail if you require further information. We are also seeking volunteers – should you be interested in assisting us in hosting this celebration, please let us know.

Volunteers working on some of the exhibits and gathering historical data are requesting the assistance of our ratepayers in providing and confirming historical information. Should you have knowledge of the matters outlined below, please assist us by providing appropriate information so that we can pass the information on to those attending our celebration:

• Retired Lieutenant Colonel Gerry Carline is compiling a display honouring veterans of international conflicts who had roots in the Rural Municipality of Moose Jaw No. 161, including Boharm and Pasqua.
